Hapstone R2 Standard Knife Sharpener

Perfect, well-built, sturdy, pleasant to use. It took me a few days to get the hang of it, but once you get the knack, it's perfect. I use it with the fine tuning adapter, which is also very useful, as well as with two assisted stopper rings, which are also very useful for preventing you from going too far when moving the sharpening stone back and forth. I have the standard clamps, they hold well and are sufficient for sharpening most knives at 18°, I wouldn't go below that: with very narrow blades (only 1 cm!), there is a risk of slightly filing the clamp, which happened to me (no worries, it's purely cosmetic). Easy to assemble. The vertical rod is offset to the left on the support, so remember to attach the sharpening rod to the right of it so that it is properly centred on the support :-) The product is quite heavy and stable. There are three adhesive rubber pieces under the metal support; the system might be more stable with four. I used a clamp to secure the support to my workbench. Great sharpening system. Makes sharpening my knives realy easy and adds a lot of fun to the hobby. Highly recommend the „Precise angle adjuster“ add on :)
