If you want some of the best stones the market has to offer, this is the right choice. The low grits works fast and efficiently. The blanks the stones are attached to are really good quality, easy to read.
The higher grits works fast stones gives a beautiful polish, and yet has amazing bite.
I use my stones with the oil hapstones makes, makes cleaning the stones a charm.

Very consistent. Please note that I have removed the silver coating via initial flattening. This exposes the bronze/copper underneath which is in my view more consistent and faster in abrasion

Brilliant. Cuts really well. Found that using honing oil keeps it clean while sharpening. Lovely stone
