Time flux

I opened TimeFlux expecting a plugin and quickly realised it isn’t one. It runs on its own — and that’s the point. Once I dropped audio in, time stopped behaving normally. Sounds stretched, melted, and morphed into textures I couldn’t have planned. This isn’t a subtle tool. I use it when I want movement, atmosphere, and unexpected results. I design the sound in TimeFlux, export it, then bring it back into my DAW shaped and transformed. It’s not for everyday mixing. It’s for moments when I want audio to evolve into something else entirely.

Great tool!

I went in expecting a standard granular tool, but I was pleasantly surprised by just how much of a powerhouse TimeFlux actually is. It has quickly become my absolute go-to tool for sound design. Its ability to transform simple samples into complex, cinematic textures is incredibly intuitive. Whether I'm crafting aggressive glitches or ethereal pads, it delivers unique results every time. It's now the first plugin I reach for when I need to push a sound further.

Thus software is fun to dive into! As someone who does a lot of sound and music for film, there’s endless ways to warp and stretch and alter sounds into completely new ones. Whether making subtle changes, or turning audio of my dog snoring into a soundscape, I can tell I’m going to nerd out on this for a long time. Cheers!
