Top notch design
Easy to open, close and gives the extra room at the handle strap you never knew you needed. This leash beats all the others, it's light-weight, doesn't stiffen in the cold and with the wide carabiner, you can use it with almost anything.

Not really convertible without Rei attachment
I was under the impression the Mellem would allow for cross-body given what I saw on the product page, but it doesn't. Now to get the Rei attachment, I would have to pay shipping again which was already a lot the first time.
