Blistering and not barefoot friendly

My Son has been wearing barefoot style shoes all his life, and after his last pair went, I was on the look for something new. I decided to give these a try from Splay, but from day one they have caused blisters for him as a result of the stitching and seams. I've even removed all tags from the tongue, but it has only marginally helped as he still has them elsewhere. The shoe, it appears, requires the wearing of socks which just isn't what were looking for. Very disappointed, especially in how much these cost.

Absolutely love these shoes. All my kids wear them. Would love for Splay to make them in youth 5 & 6 too!

Perfect for my 5 year old

This shoe has been great for my 5-year-old. He used to just remove his old shoes at every chance he got, and we never understood why (he's nonverbal). Eventually we figured out that his feet must be hurting and we started looking for better shoes. Splay was the second shoe brand we tried, and it was instant hit. He loves wearing his shoes now and walks longer happily.
