After spending quite a while researching lightsabers and comparing many different stores, I finally decided to buy the Learner Premium Xeno3 with the 36" neopixel blade, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
I was lucky enough to get it on sale for around €112 shipped, and honestly, the value for money exceeded my expectations. Before buying, I was a bit worried about the blade quality and brightness, but once I had it in my hands those concerns disappeared. The hilt feels solid and well made, the finish is excellent, and the neopixel blade is bright, evenly illuminated and looks fantastic.
One thing worth mentioning is that, like most neopixel lightsabers, it actually looks even better on camera than it does in real life. The blade is still incredibly bright in person, but cameras tend to exaggerate the glow and make it look even more cinematic.
The Xeno3 board is excellent for the price. Smooth swing is responsive, the sound quality is very good, and the amount of customization available is impressive. I've already added my own sound fonts and customized the saber to my liking.
The only part that can be a little tricky is customizing and managing sound fonts and configuration files. It takes a bit of time to understand how everything works, especially if you're new to Xeno3, but once you get the hang of it, it's a very rewarding system with plenty of customization options.
One small drawback is that the Bluetooth range is fairly limited. It works reliably, but you need to keep your phone quite close to the hilt while configuring the saber. It's a minor inconvenience rather than a real issue.
Considering the saber was shipped from China, the delivery was surprisingly fast. It arrived well packaged, in perfect condition, and everything worked flawlessly right out of the box.
For what i paid, I honestly don't think there's a better value entry into the neopixel world. The overall quality, features, and user experience exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for their first lightsaber.
