Starting / Splitting Wedge

Haven't had the chance to use the wedges yet,but just harvested white oak,red oak,and pecan and finished getting it stored at home. Give me a couple weeks and I'll be using the wedges regularly. I have some blacksmithing experience,but with a hammer and anvil,no hydraulic hammers. The wedges seem to have a high degree of workmanship,with consistent edges from piece to piece and finish is smooth with a good polish. I'll know more after I use them,but I believe I'll be very happy with the pieces.

Absolutely wonderful little splitting wedge. As soon as they're back in stock I'll definitely be getting another!
