Purchased this end of March. Received it on Thursday, assembled on Saturday and I was ready to ride.
The good: The color is NOT dark brown. It's golden brown, or bronze. We love it! The bike is very responsive. If riding the bike with just the rider on flat surface, I think you would probably get 60 miles as listed. With 2 kids, I got about 30 miles in when it went down to 90%. The ride is very smooth and enjoyable. Having the mid-drive motor and belt-drive, I will need to worry about maintenance less. That's why I purchased this bike. The bike comes with an app to control the light strip, add password, settings, etc. Having automatic light is a plus. IT also has brake lights, and turn signals, which makes riding at night safer.
The bad: The bike comes with a pretty straight handlebar. After ONE RIDE of 30 miles, my arms hurt because the handlebars are too low compared to the seat, so my arms suffer my whole body weight pushing against them. In order to ride comfortably, you would need to raise the handlebars or use BMX style handlebars. The kickstand is GREAT for the bike without any load, like kids or cargo as the bike was intended to be used. The problem is that the kickstand spreads out when engaged, which allows the bike to be very stable, a plus when loading kids, however, when folded up, it folds in and it's great since it gets out of the way of the rider. However, because of moving parts, it's very hard to engage and disengage the kickstand when the bike is loaded. I had to literally lift the front wheel at least 6 inches into the air in order to fold the kickstand up.. Imagine doing that with cargo or kids on the bike. It's quite hard and could easily fall over.
The ugly: The front brake line is very short, so if you want to change out the handlebars to BMX style it will not be easy. You'll need to get new brake lines for the front.
Overall, the bike is really well built. It doesn't have the latest features that other bikes have such as locking kickstand, GPS tracking, etc. But those features could become a liability if the electronics don't work right. I highly recommend getting the Minivan or the Workhorse, which would lower your maintenance needs.
