I like the hinges very much, however, using a template would speed things up AWA insure consistency. The lack of templates seems to be an issue with your company. Speaking of which, I probably won't order your latches anymore unless you make the template available for that item. Why are the templates unavailable?

Precision
This product is very expensive. But, what I have found is the cheaper brass hinges appear to be good quality, but they do NOT have the precision these hinges have. The cheaper Amazon version rattle. And when you are building a heirloom you do not want it to rattle or have play in them, it just cheapens the peace and I am not willing to do that ever. I do think and request they reduce the price though. But….it is a first class product.

Beautiful hinges. A real challenge for me to make the mortise. I wish there was a router template for this hinge. Otherwise, once done; they look beautiful.
