Mac and Me was a childhood favorite of mine, so it's obvious that I love this release. It's truly spectacular and some of the most humorous artwork I've ever seen.

The peerless VS restoration process was on full display with stellar sound and picture! Sincere

Originally I wanted to see this because it had a reputation as being a silly film which is full of blatant advertising. Which is actually true, but it's also very sincere. Somehow it's able to be both stupid and moving in places, with some decent effects and really well shot scenes. The score was also quite something. I can't say it's a favourite, but I actually prefer it to ET (particularly that dreadful anniversary version with all the terrible CGI!). Well worth a watch.
