Michigan / Issue 7
All the patterns are lovely and clearly written. But I love the description of the area just as much as the knitting information. Thoughtfully written and lovely pics.

love the patterns
I love the patterns and specifically bought this for The Mother of Motors. The instructions are clear, although I was able to think of a modest modification to the "wheels" that resulted in less shifting of sections and less weaving in ends. I don't like the book format because I didn't want to carry the book with me and it was difficult to copy the pattern (print was light and didn't copy well) and this made a carry-around pdf hard to read). I also didn't want to break the spine to place the book flat on the copier. That said, the photos and text were beautiful and I read the entire book.

Pure Michigan Knitting
As a native Michigander, I loved this issue. You captured all the best spots of the state and highlighted some great knitting resources. The fact that the cover photo is one of my favorite places was a highlight.
The patterns included have a good range of difficulty and are well written.
