TRIUMPH® CASTING RODS

I have purchased a number of the Triumph series rods, spinning and casting, in 6'6" and 7' lengths and have kept four, two 6'6" Medium Spinning rods, a medium and medium heavy casting rod. I have had premier and Bass X rods but always wound my way back to the Triumph. The finish is terrific and I like the feel of a cork handle. It's the right rod in my hand, it may not be for you which is why St. Croix has a variety of rods and I'd encourage people to visit their website or a sporting goods store handling St. Croix rods and find the one that's right for you. The Triumph series is the one I like best.

Overall I am satisfied with my new rod, although I wish I had purchased the medium heavy model rod instead as it seems a bit “whippy” with the reel and line I will be using.

Great feeling rod, great action , and sensitive enough for my needs with really nice fit and finish. The Triumph series may be St Croix entry level rods but the fit and finish is absolutely gorgeous. Far as looks go it's the best looking rods out of the bunch in my opinion. This Triumph rod gets the job done and looks good while it's doing it too!
