Reliable rods

I started using st croix rods 11 years ago. My boyfriend is a fishing guide and its all he owns and uses for work and play. With the proper reel the rod is amazing. I prefer the Avid and Eyecon. I do have a medium heavy black bass rod for when I want to fish for larger species. I mainly use a medium light rod with a shimano (Nasci, Miravel, Stradic) reel. These st croix rods have never disappointed me. I have gifted them to my 3 adult children and their spouses as well.
