Black Beard Fire Plug Kit | Fire Starter Kit

I love the kit itself with the electric fire starter and the Flint stick. However, I don't really care for the fire plugs. I found they didn't necessarily hold a flame right away, they were a bit harder to start, overall not my favorite. I'm much prefer the black rope ones that you have. I will be going back to those. I will not buy the fire plugs again.

So far, we like the functionality of the starter pack. Can't wait to use it for our first fire on a camping trip. We accidentally ordered a second pack that went to another house, so we'll use it for hurricane season when/if needed.

Still no books, disappointing ,but the product is great! Used it a handful of times to practice for an upcoming wilderness trip. Will probably buy some more sticks just to have on hand
