We've been using Durabit Medium Tapered Drill Bits for our windshield repairs, and overall, they have proven to be a solid choice. These bits offer consistent, clean drilling, which is crucial for the precision work we do. However, we've noticed that about 1 in every 10-20 bits can be a dud—breaking as soon as they touch the glass. While this isn't a dealbreaker, it does cause occasional delays. Despite this, we continue to use Durabit because their overall reliability and performance outweigh this minor flaw.
