My perfect raincoat

This is my idea of a perfect coat: real fiber, well-cut. plain with no extraneous and cheap details. I don't like belts on a raincoat or details that make wearing it a chore. It's not lined except for the sleeves and it's elegant and classic. I hope it wears well but at least I know where to find one. It was well-priced (it was marked down). I know I'll get my money out of it and I'll look good doing it.

A great, really useful coat!

I’m short and find belted coats aren’t that flattering on me, so this is great: simple lines, medium-weight fabric and the navy makes a nice change from the usual blacks and beiges. I found the small roomy enough.

Would be perfect if. .

. . fully lined & made of heavier cotton. The partial lining of just the top part of the coat, from the waist up, is odd. The coat does drape beautifully. I normally wear medium but purchased large to allow for layering. The large is nicely oversized, not sloppy. I am 5’4 and the coat hits mid-thigh.
