Professional Uncapping Tank - 40"

First season worked great! Look forward to using it in the years to come. I did have to bevel the gate with a file, sand and polish the inside outer edge of the plate. The edges are sharp and if the gate is slightly too tight it could cut the gasket when closing. The fix took 15mins and it should last the life of the tank.

The width doesn’t allow for frames to sit inside without being forced. If you’re using the HillCo heated roller uncapper it’s a nightmare forcing the frame into the tank also. The discharge pipe is not straight but thankfully it’s not because it wouldn’t open if it was. It’s tucked to far under the tank. If you use the Heated roller uncapper with these product the center brace which holds frames in the vertical position will no longer work.

Nice looking and of good size.

Although this unit has a few (3-4) dings/dents in flat surfaces, very pleased with its condition. Assembly was very straight forward and easy. Looking forward to putting to use late summer.
