Pretzel Bagels

I recently placed my first order with West Coast Bagels. I wanted to try something different from the usual options I find in the Midwest or back East. I was initially surprised by the shipping costs, but I greatly appreciate the owner lowering the shipping fee to let me try their products. When the order arrived, I was very pleased that each item was individually wrapped. This makes storing them in the freezer much easier. Regarding the pretzels, I found them a bit dry and lacking in flavor, even after adding the provided salt, toasting them, and dipping them in mustard. The bagels, however, were definitely better. I ordered the onion and everything flavors. Again, the individual wrapping was excellent. The taste was very good, though the texture was a bit doughy. Because they are frozen, I heated them in the toaster oven for 7–8 minutes on the bagel setting. The outside usually gets a bit burnt while the inside remains a little doughy, so it is a little difficult to get an even toast. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels and may order from them again to try some of the other flavor options.
