Breck Stool

Exactly what I needed

The craft table in my home office is taller than a traditional desk and the high chairs I’ve used over the years did not offer the great back support that my new Haworth Breck Stool does! Some days I spend 9+ hours working on my computer and my body would often ache by the end of day from poor posture/lack of back support provided by my chair. However, my Breck Stool effectively supports my body while working long days and I can feel the difference! Plus it has arm rests, something all of my previous high chairs lacked. I am very happy with my Haworth Breck Stool.

Comfortable but arm rests are unstable

The chair is comfortable but the arm rests move around constantly and don't seem to be able to be fixed in a desired place like the two previous regular height chairs which are great.

Not as comfortable as I was hoping

The chair looks good, but unfortunately not as comfortable as I was hoping. The recline is a bit stiff and requires more force to lean back. The chair also feels like it is leaning a bit forward and there is no adjustment to rotate the seat back a bit. I took a chance on ordering this chair since it was new without any reviews, and unfortunately it hasn’t met my expectations. I will keep it for now and hopefully I can adjust to its support. On a side note, the packaging came completely destroyed. The box was completely torn and didnt look like the chair was supported or protected. Fortunately the chair didnt seem to be damaged, but there was no real way to return the chair if needed.
