Great for the office!
I recently got this bag because I wanted to upgrade from my Slacker (an amazing bag in itself). Besides the fact that it’s massive, it’s very well-built and it has a lot of great features like cinch straps to compress the bag and 2 side pockets that can fit anything from a small water bottle to a tripod.
Now for the reason why I’m doing this review: I work for my library’s Outreach department, and part of my job includes going to school and community events to promote our services. I usually have to lug multiple bags to carry many items. However, I recenty used this bag to carry my laptop, tablecloth, library cards, swag, and a few other items for an event. My brand name bag that I usually use, while nicely padded, could barely fit my stuff and it creates a lot of pressure on my spine and would sometimes leave bruises on my shoulders. However, the Large Anything Bag, while very heavy, put way less pressure on my spine, especially when I used the chest and waist straps.
I wasn’t going to use this bag for work, but after this great experience, it’d be a disservice if I let it sit and use it for only a few things. Whether you’re a bike courier or work at an office, Road Runner Bags make THE best backpacks I’ve even used. Nothing compares to it honestly.
I’ll eventually add a Burrito Bag under it, but for now, this backpack is perfect.
