Clear and Focused Dialogue

I went with the upgraded center channel and was not disappointed. Dialogue is clear without having to crank up the volume, and it provides the immersion I was looking for in my HT. A great product.

Ultra Evolution Center

I have a challenging room with vaulted ceilings and a loft area. I tried many combinations and wound up with a front line of prime center, with prime satellites.  While good, I upgraded my receiver from a Sony to a Denon x4800h and decided I need to beef up the front line.  I have a challenging room for home theater, with vaulted ceilings and an open loft area that make it difficult to achieve clear, balanced sound. I tried several different speaker combinations and eventually settled on an SVS Prime Center with Prime Satellites. It sounded good, but after upgrading my receiver from a Sony to a Denon X4800H, I realized the front soundstage was the limiting factor. Upgrading to the SVS Ultra Evolution Center made a huge difference. Paired with dual SB-2000 Pro subwoofers placed in opposing corners, I experimented with both 80 Hz and 60 Hz crossover settings. To my surprise, the 60 Hz crossover noticeably improved dialog clarity. Voices became more natural and intelligible, and I no longer find myself asking my wife, "What did they say?" I also upgraded my front left and right speakers to Ultra Evolution Bookshelf speakers while keeping the Prime Satellites as my surrounds. The result is an incredibly cohesive front soundstage with outstanding dialog, seamless integration with the subs, and impressive dynamics. Even in my acoustically challenging room, this system delivers a cinematic experience that truly rocks. If you're on the fence about upgrading your center channel, don't underestimate how much of a difference it can make. For me, the Ultra Evolution Center was the single biggest improvement in overall movie enjoyment.

Realistic voices

I use these with my 5.1.2 home theater. I am sending 100 watts to this center speaker. The voices are realistic and crisp. On a high res movie or atmos music - sometimes I can't believe how good it sounds. It is like the actors or singers are in the room with me. I am fully satisfied with this purchase. You cannot go wrong at this price point. Amazing product.
