The soft rack set slides off easily when mounted with the Large Carrier. I lost one of them right away as soon as I tested the setup. Pretty disappointing for that expensive piece of foam.

The rack pads helped us secure the air carrier without a roof rack. It also protected the paint from scratches. We had the carrier and air pads on for 3 days of driving. Nothing moved! I’m going to test out using a third pad in the middle of the carrier for more support the next time we use it.
