I’ve been trying to find an Orris, Violet fragrance that mimics the Vintage Avon lipstick fragrance from the 60’s & 70’s that my mother wore. A lipstick scent that stays constant from start to dry down. Incarnata is the closest I’ve found to meeting that need except it does change towards the end losing the main lipstick vibe. Incarnata has that much desired powdery, waxy "lipstick" heart, which finally settles into a soft, amber-resin and suede finish.
Incarnata is very feminine leaning fragrance that makes a bolder statement at the start smelling like honest to goodness Violet-Orris scented LIPSTICK!!! It’s soft & powdery, elegant, velvety (Orris-Suede), luxurious & sensual. Absolutely beautiful! I love it!
