SilverFox C1 Navigation Controller

It’s a great unit, except…

I’m not sure how to write this review, because the Silver Fox controller itself is really nice! It’s rugged and well made, and it’s very cleverly designed to fit a wide variety of installations. However, my DMD tablet doesn’t remember the button assignments that I program. The controller seems to have an old firmware version, and it’s not clear to me how to accomplish an update, or if that might fix my problem. So I guess my issue is with not having things working out of the box, combined with finding the online resources a bit difficult to utilize. Hopefully I’ll get it figured out soon, without too much more aggravation, and without bricking the controller or tablet?

Good controller without losing bar space.

The controller works ok but I like the DMD2 controller better with the dedicated buttons. Great controller if you do not have much bar space.

Great controller for limited bar space

Picked up the C1 for my 25 Tiger Sport 800. Fits perfectly and was able to place it so that the factory cruise control button is still easy to reach. Really takes DMD2 to the next level. Just used this on a 500 mile road trip and being able to interact with DMD without touching the screen is a game changer. I'm using Bluetooth mode btw since my device is a generic rugged android phone.
