Computer Engineering for Babies

Great book for babies and non babies

I gave this to my 3 year old nephew, who has been obsessed with his "Computer engineering for babies" for the last 6 months, and now he is also obsessed with this one (which he calls "the tire book"). Well made, engaging, and the only books his parents aren't sick of re-reading for the 1000th time with him. I plan to give two more of these away to friends' kids, and will probably end up buying more for others. Huge hit across the board!! Can't wait to see what's next from Chase!

Simple but elegant

The baby loves it. The book doesn’t always stay open flat, and when it doesn’t sometimes the desired result is not produced. Baby does not care, she is having too much fun. Not sure how much cause and effect or CE she is learning but she is entertained.

A very cute book, but not for a baby

Computer Science for Babies is very simple, and the baby (18mo) enjoyed pushing the buttons, but didnt get the logic at all- too young. At least the colors and buttons got his attention. Maybe he will go back to it when he is older. Very sturdy and well made. Simple Machines was also a hit, but the baby (18mo) didn't have the patience for more that the wheel on the front and the wedge. I am concerned that he will tear off the screw completely. Otherwise the book is super sturdy and has held up well so far. Anyway, just like the Computer Science book, it is fun, but the logic is beyond an 18 month old. Maybe 2 or 3 years minimum.
