The color is lovely but the formula is very greasy and doesn't stay put on the lips at all. Its more like a lip oil than a sheer lipstick or gloss. I was hoping the formula would be more like Nature Republic's Honey Melting Lip. I adore their formula but the colors are to light for me. This color is perfect but the formula is wrong 😭

so much more pigmented than you’d expect! you can keep one layer and blend it out for a more sheer look but it definitely had buildability to it

A really cool and surprisingly wearable shade when blotted

I bought this shade and a couple of other colors and ended up being pleasantly surprised with how much I liked them. They are very comfortable to wear and the colors are pretty true to the pictures. That being said, I do wish that the formula was just a little bit more firm. Its not sticky or uncomfortable like a bad lip gloss, but its just a little bit too melty in my opinion. What I mean by that is that its so slippery when you put it on compared to normal lipstick that it is a bit hard to control your lip lines when you put it on, and because it is so pigmented, this makes putting it on and not looking crazy a bit of a challenge. (Like it is nearly the consistency of a lip gloss, but in a lipstick container, which makes it harder to apply because it smushes the product everywhere as opposed to a gloss that usually has a doe foot applicator for more control.) The way that I found that I like to wear them is to put on a light layer on my bottom lip and then share that with my top lip, and then I go a step further and blot my lips on the back of my hand to take off the excess. You are still left with A LOT of color and product, believe it or not, it is THAT pigmented and thick. So, not a bad product, but the formula could have been just a little firmer, or even had a slightly different application method, and then it would be perfect for me, personally.
