This is a solid wood glue board made from branded cypress from Okayama Prefecture.
We use high-quality cypress that is also used in shrines and temples, characterized by its high oil content and water resistance. It is durable and long-lasting, even when used as a glue board for Tsumami-zaiku, which is repeatedly immersed in water.
