I am a heavier rider with an appreciation for older bikes. With horizontal dropouts mashing on the pedals generally led to me jamming the wheel into a chainstay and going over the bars. With this, not only do I not worry about the wheel becoming misaligned I can actually fine tune it’s alignment in the drop out! Honestly, it surprises me that no one has thought of this before or this is not a standard part on all horizontal dropout bikes.
