Way better than any jewlers loop. I like the 3 light settings, and the manual focus. The screen projects magnified images nicely. I have used the device probally 30 times and still have not had to charge it again. shipping took longer than I thought it would, but it did arrive in perfect condition. Had my inlaws grandkids try it out and they had alot of fun with it. Is it worth 50$ + shipping? The price seems a little high, but then again mabey the question should be, are you going to use it alot. In that case it seems pretty fair. cheers
