Excellent floodlight camera bought to replace aging Kuna floodlights

These cameras replaced Kuna floodlights which had been in service for about 7 years. The differences between the two brands could not be sharper. The Eufy video is much clearer and connecting to the camera from the app is smoother and faster with far fewer dropouts. The Eufy auto-tracking, optical zoom, PTZ versus the Kuna fixed position lens with digital zoom - there is just no comparison. And this is not just an age difference because the retired Kuna floodlight cameras are still being sold, unimproved for about 8 years. Eufy shows very clearly how much the available technology has advanced. It is also worth nothing that the two floodlight cameras cost about the same. The light is very bright and like the Kuna, can be dimmed. Eufy provides 3 ways to store your videos, local SD, the Homebase appliance, or in their cloud service. Kuna cameras are useless without the Kuna cloud service. Eufy build quality is excellent and much attention has been paid to ensuring the elements are kept out of the inner workings. Seams and gaps are minimal and elastomer seals are used where necessary. The Eufy AI tracking and object recognition are well-developed and surprisingly accurate even at distances well over 50 feet. On the down side, the app has crashed on me at least 4 times in the first two weeks which is not great. I am sure that will be addressed over time.
