Literally double the width and thickness of the Amazon ones I had before! I bought larger shoes from Amazon to replace the smaller OEM ones on my Massey Ferguson 2360 snow blower, and they still sank into the new gravel on my driveway. They were fine when it was crumbling asphalt, but no good when we had the asphalt replaced with crushed stone. These 4" tamers have made a major improvement. With 6+ inches of stone in places the driveway just wasn't freezing solid, and switching to a plow was my only option before. Now these shoes make the blower usable on our driveway, and save me from switching back and forth to do our driveway, the sidewalks, and 2 neighboring driveways.

These are a game changer. So much better than the stock shoes. I avoided using this piece of equipment until I put these on. My driveway is gravel and over 1/2 mile long. These stopped the equipment from picking up gravel and breaking shear bolts by 90%. Last storm dropped over 18" here and R2 rushed the order to get me covered before it hit. Thanks for making awesome products and looking out for your customers!!!! Now I have the Edge Tamers for my bucket, snowblower and a set of Blade Tamers for my back blade.

Works well on packed gravel
I have attached the bolt on tamers to my Kioti snowplow. They replaced the side feet that were significantly smaller and did not have an upturned front end. The tractor on the float mode does very well on maintaining a surface float on the packed road gravel. Between the weight of the plow and the shoes, if you are plowing over fresh unpacked gravel, it will start digging in and you have to take the hydraulics off of the float mode. As R2 put on a great adjustment capability due to the number of side mount holes, I am going to try and turn up the head end slightly to see if this helps. Anyways, a great improvement over what I dealt with from the OEM.
