Simple to use, extremely helpful for quickly holding your smartphone lens steady over a microscope eyepiece for snapping photos. The remote is essential. I actually captured about 20 photos, over range of focal planes, for stacking. One hand for the remote and focusing downward, and one hand for the smartphone. The caveat, while the lens end of your phone rests on the eyepiece, you'll still need to hold your phone steady with one hand. At least that my experience. An iPhone is heavy and difficult to support solely via something over or clamped to an eyepiece. This has been a problem for ALL the mounts I've tried. , including expensive complicated mounts. So definitely try the AmScope mount before wasting money on more expensive products. I wish I had. I highly recommend this product.
