Corned Beef - it worked!

This was my first time cooking corned beef, and it turned out well for dinner with our family and my son’s band members. I boiled it twice, briefly, with aromatics before baking it covered with foil for 2 hours. Then I smeared the top with savory mustard and a bit of brown sugar and popped it back in the oven uncovered for another 20-30 minutes. Sliced thinly, it was tender and delicious. Thanks, Stillman!

Another great quality product!

Ordered this for St. Patrick’s party that got canceled. We cooked it last night, baked in the oven with a can of beer. I didn’t realize it didn’t come with any additional seasoning so I coated the top with coriander, mustard seed and black pepper then sealed it with foil. This was a large brisket, 7 lbs. so 4 hours @ 350 yielded a fork tender buttery delight reminiscent of an old world deli. This brisket was well trimmed with very little shrink. Worth every penny

The corned beef was phenomenal. Just the right amount of fat and the beef itself was sooo tender. Would definitely have it again, like anything we have purchased from Stillman's.
