Very nice and useful tool! The wide tip allows for the pins to be aligned on narrow pieces of the false keel and individual hull planks without slipping or pushing the pin in the wrong direction.

This tool worked well at first. Then I think I mistakenly inserted a pin into it the wrong way with the point in and the head out. It got jammed into the tool rendering it useless. I’m not angry with it but it is of no use to me any more. Also, the pins that came with my kit are really too small for the tool. There is too much wiggle room around the pins and therefore, it’s very easy for them to bend or go in at the wrong angle.
