I had a wonderful experience with this beginner PPG class! For me, this dream was a long time coming and it became now or never situation. Many who know me may consider me a bold risk taker. That may be somewhat true as I often dabble with calculated risk and other activities. Well, for me, this is the one adventurous sport that I wanted to decrease the risk as much as possible. Therefore, I did my homework. I like to do research so I dug deep. I wasn't quite sure how the Backcountry PPG training cost compared to the competition. I didn't factor that in as my goal was to seek out the best PPG training regardless of cost and location. I kept coming back to Trevor and Backcountry PPG. I had multiple phone conversations with Trevor as well as other competing instructors. I also watched many instructional videos to see how the different instructors taught. I kept gravitating towards the way Trevor explains detail and emphasizes the important information. I found him very easy to follow and understand. I held a high value to this fact as my ability to learn new things does not come as easy as it used to. 😉
Another noteworthy mention is that Backcountry PPG has access to several great field training sites nearby! The wind conditions are often favorable. This really helps to keep unfavorable weather to a minimum.
So ultimately, from a value perspective, I opted to learn how to fly with Backcountry PPG!
Was it the right decision? Absolutely! From day one, I knew I made the right choice! Both Trevor and Mike are amazing instructors! They make a great team out in the field. I benefited from each of their perspectives and guidance!
If you are considering learning how to PPG, I strongly recommend Backcountry PPG. If you are shopping around for quite possibly the best instructors available, let my due diligence save you some time. I'm happy to discuss my experience with anyone! It feels good to make the right choice with something so important! I am so excited that I have decided to get into this sport! I now have the training and the confidence to get out there and fly like an Eagle! Okay, maybe more like a Heron but regardless, it''s amazing!!!
