This is my 4th Tula open crown straw hat. The best solution for sun protection for those of us with a big bun. 😀

Love the hat would love it more if it were....
I love my open crown hat. I can have my hair up in a big bun on top of my head and still have sun protection. However, I would love the hat even more if the brim were wider. I have a 8" brim hat with a closed crown and if y'all at Tula could make this open crown hat with an 8" brim I would be in hat heaven.

Perfect
I got this hat to wear when I’m rowing my boyfriend’s boat while he fishes. It is perfect for this! It has a good size brim for sun coverage, my head doesn’t get too hot with the open crown, and the strap keeps it snug to my head, even in wind.
