Love them but need care instructions

I have both the Avenue Pump and the Cadence Bow Flat in the light gold color. I love them both as they are comfortable for my problem feet and also stylish. I have gotten many compliments and people asking where I got them. I like the light gold because it goes with everything and is good for all seasons of the year. The only negative is that no matter how careful you are they can develop slight scratches by the toes or along the sides. It seems like it’s impossible to remove scratch marks from metallic shoes so I would like to know if there is anything you can apply to new metallic shoes that would help prevent scratches from forming??? PLEASE ANSWER AND ADVISE! Thanks.
