Aiko 2024 Shincha review
Aiko is a great wake-up beverage, with 3 of 4 bars on the chart of caffeine and 2 of 4 bars of theanine. Absolutely lovely. I enjoy Aiko as much as some of Ikkyu's competition senchas.

Best Sencha Ever Tried
Always been a big fan of Sencha and bought mine from UK tea merchants. They were fine and no complaints but this is in a different league. A Rolls Royce of Sencha I would ague - there may be better out there still but I have yet to try them. The flavour notes as listed here were still there on the second steeping. Really fine umami flavour with lots of other notes coming through. The colour was a rich clear green colour with little or no cloudiness. Prepared exactly how it recommended on the pack and this gave me a perfect Sencha. You won't regret trying this one - awesome.
