Elegant bench pad

As always… well made and great appearance. I replaced pads made for a previously styled bench where the top was not flat, but where two planks met in the center facing slightly downwards. (Hope I described it ok). This newer pad (made to cover the newer style bench) does not cover 100% of the top as the others did and it is thinner. At first it annoyed me. Then I realized it changed the whole appearance of the bench—making it more sophisticated and elegant in appearance. I actually like the look better. However, it would be nice to be given a choice rather than making the entire prior bench’s look obsolete.
