Pot when filled with soil is plenty rigid enough for most handling scenarios. Useful for early spring planting to a good size to go into the soil.

Terrific pots. Very strong, just the right amount of flexibility for easy removal of plants with root ball intact. The 4.5" size is perfect for a lot of plants where I find the 4" too small and 5" too large.
