Duffle Suitcase

It's a beautiful bag but with a lot going for it but it is missing a few things that would make it truly great for someone who travels all the time.

I travel 50%+ of the time. It is a beautifully constructed bag so you won't be disappointed, but if you are a frequent traveler, it is missing a few important things to make it perfect. I think I will only use it when not flying or needing to pack it very full. First, there is no exterior pocket for a water bottle and putting it inside the bag makes is hard to reach and doesn't fit well given the design. One of the 2 exterior pockets, the smaller one, is too tight to be useable when the bag is fully packed and it is too access the larger iphone if that was what it was intended for. The suitcase strap that you use to attach the bag to your roller bag is good but it is too small if you have a Rimowa bag (which I do) as it gets caught and is tough to get on and off quickly (like when you are going through security). It needs to be bigger and the little zipper pocket on that side should also be bigger as you can't really fit anything in it. The bag also triggered extra security check on all my flights, which never happens to me with the backpack I normally travel with. Not sure what it is that caused that, but I hate getting the secondary screening at security it is a time killer. The leather is beautiful and the liner is beautiful and the design is thoughtful, just could use a few tweaks to make it better.

Duffle suitcase

I purchased this to have a better under the seat carry on that allows a couple of days of clothing. This will also work for a long weekend. The quality is excellent leather! I am very satisfied with my purchase and have recommended Wool and Oak to others.

I absolutely love this bag. I have received compliments on it from everyone throughout our world travels. More importantly, the company has excellent customer service and sent the bag expeditiously when they knew that we had an upcoming trip. I am able to fit my toiletry bag, an apple laptop, my passport book, hardback book, and a packing cube with 3 days of clothes in here easily. I also like the convenience of the front pockets where I was able to place things that I needed to get to easily during travel. The ability for this to open like a clam is also extremely convenient. The only minor thing I would say is it makes zero sense why the zipper is on this bag and the Nova are different colours. I want the company to make a work bag version though, as this has become my new favourite company for travel suitcases.
