Parfait® Plush

I really like parfait plush but....

I love the colors of parfait plush but they could use more colors in greens and browns... also I'm noticing some colors are thinner than others and tear easy. Most are very soft and so nice to work with. The black yarn really does leave a lot of fluff on you when your crocheting and pulls off the ends and starting ends like parfait chunky does...

Quality declining 😔

I absolutely loved this yarn when it first launched- it was so soft and durable with a silky finish. But lately it’s been a gamble with each order if I’m going to get nice, silky, soft skeins or fragile, oddly rough (almost sticky?) skeins. When I reached out to customer service they were less than kind about it and my only option was to ship them back and then rebuy them at a higher price than what I paid. It’s unfortunate- they used to replace bad skeins but I guess this is no longer the policy. Really disappointed.

My review of Parfait Plush.

Generally I like the yarn. However there are several issues with it. First, the shedding is crazy. But I'm used to it because of my use of Parfait chunky. Second, inconsistency in texture and thickness. This one us extremely frustrating as an amigurumi creator. Third, price. $7.99 was bad enough and now they raised it to $8.99. So unless it is on sale, I won't be purchasing as there are alot of comparable yarns that are cheaper or on sale more often.
