Being one who's always keen to avoid gimmicks I was unsure about this brush, as I questioned the difference to this brush from using a coarse toothed comb. However I'm also happy to learn and me wrong, and on this occasion I was. The brush does make a vastly better job of straightening and tidying my beard than a standard comb. Initially, on arrival, I admit I was slightly put off by its size, despite the fact it is clearly stated. I have also seen some similar products where the surface area of the bristles is oval and therefore provides a more continuous comb per stroke. I wonder whether there is a benefit in that design? However the brush is big enough for my spade hands and does everything it says it does and what I wanted it too. If pondering over the size or shape scenario, I guess the only way to find out is to try them both!

Good brush, not too harsh

Perfect size to carry about and the bore brush is not to harsh brushing against the skin like Some other brands.
