There is no way to move the piece that holds the phone so it usually ends up facing more down making it harder to use while on the air vent.

Better than expected. I was hesitant to order this mount. I was concerned that it would not hold my phone securely and could damage my truck vent. Both concerns were unfounded. Nicely made, secure, and installs in seconds.
