Happier Barrier

Wow.

I have pretty resilient combination skin but wrecked my barrier using a too-aggressive routine to try to clear closed comedones. It got so bad so fast, within a few days just rinsing my face with water hurt. My skin was so dry that new lines appeared. I tried a few different soothing and repairing products just to find out that ingredients that never bothered me before, like niacinamide, were burning terribly. Then I used a thick layer of this at night and a thin layer in the morning. At the end of day one, my skin already felt comfortable again! I could wash with a cleanser, and the new lines from the extreme dehydration were gone. On day two, I could use products with niacinamide again. I am beyond impressed by this product, it was an absolute skin saver!

Soft, velvety skin

I have normal-to-dry skin, and Happier Barrier has quickly become one of my favorite creams. It has a rich but non-greasy texture and leaves my skin incredibly soft, smooth and velvety. I especially love using it in the evening, when it gives my skin a comfortable, nourished feeling. Definitely a cream I would repurchase.
