Solid Gold Charm Clip

My first carabiner from LE. If you are trying to figure which carabiner to start with, you can never go with a cute heart. It goes great with any charm.

Round charm clip

I purchased the round charm clip two years and one month ago from this date (July 31 2025) and have worn it semi regularly on a necklace with my charms. Until now, it had held up well minus a slight side to side wiggle on the opening piece. Yesterday, I happened to look down and noticed the soart that you open to put charms on was open. Thankfully, I didn't lose any of my charms. After removing the clip from my necklace and inspecting it more closely, I discovered that the spring mechanism had failed completely. The opening/closing section detached, leaving the clip in two separate pieces with no way to secure it. Unfortunately, the warranty is only one year. Even though this is 9-karat gold, it's still an expensive piece of jewelry, so it's very disappointing that it failed after just over two years of normal use. I expected much better durability from a gold charm clip.

I wasn't convinced with the asthetic of this charm clip. I would've loved if it was twisted all the way around, where it opens. I am exchanging it for a carabiner.
