Love These Shoes

I bought these shoes for my trip to Japan with a tight window for delivery. They arrived exactly on the first day of the delivery window and I wore them every single day for an average of 5.5 miles of walking for 21 days. They were comfy the whole time, and to my surprise and delight kept my feet bone dry even in puddly torrential rain, a feature I did not anticipate. I was unhappily surprised to find the right heel had developed a hole in the blue lining by about day 19, with no such wear evident on the left. Clearly there is something about my gait that wore the right heel. Happily there is another layer of lining below and the shoes functioned perfectly for the last few days of the trip[. They still look like new on the outside (maybe a little dusty) and I plan to repair the lining in the heel and continue to love my shoes for ever.
