Hyperlight

Has a sharp, astringent, metal smell. Like if an android had a natural fragrance, almost hospitally. The name feels appropriate. Overall though, everything is cohesive and I really like it!

I can’t seem to decide how I feel about this fragrance. As a lover of the avant garde, Hyperlight is satisfying in that it’s deeply peculiar. I’d been trying to place a finger on what it so deeply reminded me of - vaguely plasticky, vaguely papery, almost like a doctor’s office in some ways. And then I realized that it was almost exactly like the smell of having toilet tissue wadded in a nostril to stop a nose bleed. A little gross. A little intriguing. It’s powerful, loud, and longlasting, for better or worse. Even as someone that regularly wears screechy and off-color fragrances, I can’t see myself wearing this out without layering it.
