High quality leather but the colour is not quite as advertised. Ruby red looks much brighter in the marketing video than in reality. It’s really more of a maroon tone.

I was really happy to find a cover that will adapt to the cahier size notebooks as I find an A5 too bulky and an awkward size to cart around. I love the coloured elastics I chose against the inkwell colour. The inside colour is stunning. Unfortunately I don’t like the leather used, it has a cardboardy feel. Comparing it to other journals I have, old and new, I think the cost is quite high for a cover that has no stitching combined with the feel of the leather. Hopefully it will age and soften beautifully.

I purchased the scribe for a little treat for myself and it was such a delight when it arrived! I’ve used it everyday so far. The leather is so soft yet sturdy to hold everything together. Such a great piece to have. Definitely recommend!
