Not considerate of baby reality

I bought this bag a few months ago and have been taking good care of it. Until my baby’s water bottle (filtered water) had a little leakage within last week. This is very common and normal for moms as motherhood is messy and little accidents happen. I was surprised to see that the bag was not water proof from within and so the water ended up reaching the outer layer of the bag and left a strain. The type of leather used for this bag will let water leave a visible stain. I’m disappointed to see the manufacturers not consider this for something that’s marketed as a diaper bag for around 500 USD. When I contacted customer service, they said there’s nothing you can do to fix the water stain.
